We have a Cirrus 400 and were getting ready to switch ownership to a new practice, when the unit broke down. Of course, Zeiss will no longer fix these units. The new practice that we were joining agreed to purchase a new unit for us, but the Cirrus 5000 was on backorder for months. Luckily I found Eyeconic to help us out. We sent the unit to Florida and it was fixed within a few days. One of the issues with our unit showed up again a few days later. It turned out that one of the focusing motors malfunctioned only once the unit had been used for hours on end, heating up the motor.
Eyeconic quickly fixed the motor at no charge and now the unit is definitely better than new. In fact, we haven’t yet bothered to set up the Cirrus 5000 unit that we finally received. In short, I’m really glad we found these guys.

I ordered several eye equipment from Eyeconic a few years ago...Mr Amado Diaz dealt directly with us and provided after sales service. I was a little apprehensive at first as Eyeconic is in the United States and we are in Singapore. However, Amado was very professional and his after sales service excellent! We had some issues with one of the slit lamp power boxes and I had to send it back for further modifications and repair...Amado dealt with it very professionally and promptly. I would recommend Eyeconic to any Eye surgeon looking to buy any eye equipment as Eyeconic’ s pricing is reasonable and service excellent
My out of warranty/support Zeiss Visucam arrived at their repair facility on a Thursday and left their facility the next day. It arrived at my office a day before it was expected. And it works! The crew worked with me as if I was a long time client, even though this was the first time they had heard from me, on the phone and via text. Hopefully I won’t need their repair services again, but they have my business in the future.
Several days ago my Humphrey automated visual field Model 750 broke down. I could not find anyone to work on it until I called eyeconiceoe in Tampa who referred me to Chad. Over the last few days with extreme patience from Chad we have slowly found the problem and now have a nicely running visual field machine.
Included in the software on this visual field machine is a program from the Department of Defense which I use to evaluate our veterans returning from the Afghanistan and Iraq theaters for traumatic brain injuiry. With this visual field machine up and running we can now continue our work to help those american heroes returning from combat to see that they get the care that they need.
At this time I offer this letter as a small way to commend Chad for his patience and expertise in this program.
P.S. the main problem that chad found was that a small piece of equipment was off by 1/8 of an inch! thanks again Chad for your help!
I called Eyeconic from out of state with a question about a late model visual field machine. It is no longer supported by the manufacturer and I was told to do an internet search for medical equipment repair which is how I came upon Eyeconic. Chad walked me through a quick fix that I could not figure out on my own using the manual for the machine. The only other alternative was to buy a new machine and with this fix and his stock of parts for this piece of equipment I should get years of service out of it still. THIS WAS HUGELY HELPFUL!!!
